Working with the Pernod Ricard team we created a look and feel and activation for the Autumn theme of “Day of the Dead” for their Olmeca and Kahlua brands.
The Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos in Spanish) is a Mexican and Mexican-American celebration of dead ancestors which occurs on November 1 and November 2, coinciding with the similar Roman Catholic celebrations of All Saints Day and All Souls Day.
Point of sale and drinking vessels for specially created cocktails brought the activation to life. In-bar decoration and theming added to the customer experience. Wahaca embraced the activation, creating a festival of Mexican music, food, street art and culture to really immerse their consumers in the spirit of the Day of the Dead.
